Welcome to the Gas Lamp Costume Shop, a non-profit providing reasonable costume rentals for your community theater or school, or unique, one-of-a-kind outfits for costume parties, fundraising events, and Halloween.  Located at 17 Herman Street, in the center of historic Glen Ridge, the Costume Shop has the perfect costumes for every show and occasion.

Beginning September 8th, we will be open Tuesdays -
Saturdays, 12 - 5 PM, under our new manager, Dan Schulz. 

Dan is a highly respected costume designer who managed his own costume shop for many years.  We know that under his stewardship, The Costume Shop will be better able to serve the community and provide costumes for virtually any production or event. 

Welcome Dan at our FALL FESTIVAL on Sunday, Sept. 28, from 1 - 4 outside the Costume Shop.  Bob for apples, do fall crafts, and see our improved collection of beautiful theatrical and Halloween costumes.
